2006 Superbowl Tournament
It was a crisp clear gorgeous day in Upsala. Check out these photos of a bunch of people having a great time playing winter horseshoes in a beautiful facility. Thanks to Mel and Joyce Larson and the Upsala Horseshoe Club for hosting this event.

2006 Horse Expo
This was the first year the MGSHPA has particpated in the Horse Expo. On Friday the rain was off and on and we managed to get over 1000 people through our exhibit between showers. On Saturday and Sunday the rain never stopped and it was very windy and cold. The Mn Horse Expo has invited us back next year and we look forward to trying this event again.

2006 Kolachy Days
It was an extremely hot summer day with the heat index nearing 110 degrees. The games were shortened and plenty of free water was avaiable.
2006 Hennepin Co Fair
Nearly 1000 people were introduced to organized horseshoe pitching in this "Pitch and Win" event.

2007 Horse Expo
This successful event was held April 27-29. Thanks to all MGSHPA members who helped run this event. Thanks also to the Mn Horse Expo staff for their excellant support.
2007 Brooklyn Park Open
The morning shift enjoyed perfect conditions, but the afternoon shift got a little wet. Mother nature decided that 4 games was enough.

2007 State Tournament and Banquet
This was a historic state tournament for the MGSHPA. It was the first time ever that cash prizes were awarded. It was also the first time ever that a "move up" made it to a state title playoff game. Congratulations to Marlys Timm for her achievement.
NHPA Hall of Fame Grand Opening
These photos were taken at the NHPA Hall of Fame grand opening in Wentzville, MO on October 5th, 2007. This facility is a world class operation with 16 beautiful indoor courts and 16 outside courts in process.
